Nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, near the historic town of Yackandandah is accommodation that offers a stay in a nature based environment.
Enjoy a refreshing break between Melbourne and Sydney experiencing the ultimate escape, less than an hour to Snow Fields, Wineries, the Mighty Murray River and Lakes.
Local Yackandandah tourist attractions such as The Strawberry Winery, Vienna Patisserie, The Lavender Patch, Kars Reef Gold Mine and world renown potter - John Dermer's Gallery.
Yackandandah's main street is full of classified buildings built from the profits of gold fields that populated the surrounds. Today you will find many Curios, Antiques, and Coffee shops, as well as the friendly atmosphere of local Pubs. The Bakery offers fresh baked treats.
Creek Haven is set on a mix of farm land and natural bush. Take a picnic hamper (arranged by us), a bottle wine and walk down to the creek at the rear of our property and enjoy the serenity. You may catch sight of a wallaby, platypus or other native animals.
Spend a quiet afternoon catching a trout in the creek and cook it on the BBQ for your dinner. As an added service your hosts can arrange a fishing trip, horse riding or a gold mine tour. The Alpine areas of Falls Creek and
Mt. Hotham are within a leisurely drive. There are a range of places to dine at and/or obtain provisions.

Creek Haven is named for the Yackandandah Creek which runs through the rear of the property, complementing the peace and privacy. There are still remnants of the gold rush diggings along this section of the creek.

Explore the beauty of Yackandandah and surroundings from

 Creek Haven.
